Help. my computer doesn't recognize my hd 7950 but it recognizes 4850

when 7950 is in, its on and the fan spins. when the connector(hdmi, vga,or dvi) is connected to the 7950 the monitor doesnt get a signal at all its just all black. unless i put the connector to the motherboard itself. then i check my device manager and the 7950 is not there.
I've tested the 7950 on my other computer and it works. I bought a new motherboard ECS H61H2-mv. i have a i5-2500. im wondering if my mobo that i just bought last night is at fault.

oh and i just found out that windows 10 has no 4850 driver! that sucks.

my other system has a i7.4790

So if you install the 7950, you do not even see the BIOS when starting up the PC?

If thats the case it is likely not compatible with the ECS motherboard. I looked up your motherboard and the 7950 is not on the compatibility list. I have seen this issue before here with ECS where their support for GPU's, Memory, and other things is very specific and not conducive to gaming hardware. You likely need to buy a different brand of motherboard.
