Worth upgrading to a GTX 950 SC+ from a 750 SC Ti?

Bought the 750 Ti yesterday after replacing my HD 5770 and found a significant increase in my computers performance but I'm still looking for a bit of a boost (I'm still having FPS issues on Dark Souls 3).

With that said, I'm deciding if I should return the 750 and buy the 950 SC+.

I'm looking to keep the spending down and the 950 is just around my price range (I can't find a 960 below $200).

My set up includes 8GB of RAM, AMD Phenom II Quad-Core and 600w PSU.

Someone please get back to me ASAP as I want to return and purchase later today!

Thanks in advance!

Given that there's a 35% increase in price (Where I live anyway) between the two cards, and around 25% performance increase, if you can get a full return its a good deal, if its only partial, keep the 750ti and wait until June! :D
Hmmm, personally I think with pascal GPUs on the horizon in June, its worth the wait till then to grab one of the new mid-high performance cards.
I don't think the price justifies the 25% increase in performance. At this point its better to wait, either to save up and get the new replacement of the 970, or get any of the current cards at a discounted price.
Either way if you're going to upgrade, the 960 is the minimum I would recommend at this point.

Would you say that there is a significant performance increase with the 960 compared to the 950?

If I wait, I'm afraid my return policy would have expired by then which is why I'm looking for a boost in performance now :/

Spoke to a salesperson and yes they can cover the full return since its within the return policy!

I wouldn't say that there's a huge performance increase necessarily, but the horsepower puts you in the high 60s-70s in most new games at higher settings, more than the high 40s-50s of the 950.
Its just that given that you're going for a lower end GPU, its def worth your time to wait until june for price drops, because the 970 is a huge jump in performance which should be able to kill everything at 1080p.

What I mean by not recommended is that in terms of lower end stuff in terms of Nvidia, the performance upgrade isn't going to feel like money well spent, and that a mid range card would be a much better price-performance deal compared to the 950/960.

Considering my current situation, I think I'm just going to opt-in with returning the 750 for the 950 just for the slight increase in performance!

Cool, whatever suits! :D
