Does the Asus P5WD2 Premium Support an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

as title says. I am wondering if I need to get a different mobo if I want to use a q6600 in it. Link to asus website below. Thanks!

It is not listed on the support site.

Core2 based cpus required a new VRM design as well as supported chipsets.

Looks like you will need a newer board(I would go p35 or newer, while 975x and some others work, they do not always work well with quad cores.).
