Solution nukemaster Apr 13, 2016 It is not listed on the support site. Core2 based cpus required a new VRM design as well as supported chipsets. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5WD2_Premium/HelpDesk_CPU/ Looks like you will need a newer board(I would go p35 or newer, while 975x and some others work, they do not always work well with quad cores.).
