I just finished building an advanced PC gaming rig about 2 months ago and has been working great, up until now. I'll be doing whatever task like playing a video game or doing my homework and then suddenly, my TV screeen would black out and there would be nothing I could do to get it back on unless I restart the PC. The system operations also get loud sometimes when the screen cuts out or is on longer than a few hours, even though it did not do that before. It also seems like every now and then when I try turning my PC on, the first time the screen does not come on, but then I restart it and then screen works. This not happen with the DVR and Wii U that is connected to the TV so I can only assume that its happening to my PC.

My computer parts are as follows:

MSI R9 390 8 GB GPU (used for half a year)

Intel i5 4590 CPU (used for 2 months)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler (used for a year)

MSI H81M-E34 Motherboard (used for 2 months)

Team Elite 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) (used for a year)

Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch (used for a year)

Sentey® Power Supply 850w Modular 80 Plus Bronze Mbp850-hm Metal Blade Power (used for a year)

Sentey Gs-6008 Stealth Gaming Computer Case (used for a year)

Another thing to note is that while I was connecting the parts, one of the wires of case fan connecters snapped So I am currently not connecting my case fan wires to the motherboard so they don't operate, but according to my system temps, my parts are not overheating and are working fine. My case has light on the power button that glows blue if it is working fine and red when its not. Ever since my computer has been having the screen black outs, the light has been random with which color lights it shows, including not showing any or barely any color.

'cuts to Black and becomes Unusable for No Reason "..... There's a reason, you just don't know what it is.

temperatures - you need to find out exactly what the temperatures are when it's idle, and when under load.

It's likely that the GPU is just getting too hot, or possibly the PSU is too hot causing the video card to not get enough power.

You could try running with the side of the case of which should help with temperatures until you replace the fan----- you do need to replace the fen.

Honestly my first guess upon seeing this would be that it's most likely a HDMI connection issue. What type of HDMI cable are you using? Are you using a high speed one or not? I can't imagine it's a power supply issue since that's a pretty decent unit you have. Have you been able to hook your PC up to a monitor that is not a TV?
