yep I just absolutely missed it sorry. the thing is, getting say an air cooler or even a h80i would save money, but it would not really be enough money for any parts upgrades save a better GPU ( perhaps a G1 gaming card or a more OC oriented card) this system will chew through those games very well.

what is the motherboard? I am either blind, or I did not see it. the H100i is rather overkill for an i5, but if you plan to OC a lot or just really want to keep it cool it should be fine. it looks like you have about $150 left for the motehrboard assuming you are going for windows.

The motherboard is the MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151. I believe it is on the list. I do plan on overclocking but could the money be spent somewhere else that would improve the performance?
