I built my computer yesterday, with 32 GB of RAM. I am using the Asus z170 pro gaming motherboard. Everything looked right, so I powered the motherboard up. Black screen, and the CPU_LED was lit up. I found a forum that suggested using only one stick of RAM, so I tried it and it worked. Now, I want all four sticks of RAM in my computer. I have checked the specs, and the processor (intel i7 6700K) can handle up to 64 GB, and the motherboard can handle the same. Any help is appreciated
UPDATE:
I have 4 RAM slots, A1, A2, B1, and B2. The user manual says to use slot A2 for one stick, so I did and it worked. For 2, it said A2 and B2, which didn't work. I just tried A1 and A2, and that works. I tried both slots of "B," and neither made a successful boot. Only a boot loop. Is there something I can do to make the "B" slots work?
Thanks in advance,
Danny.
