Windows 10 motherboard Driver compatibilty

My system is an asus maximus v gene which is z77 chipset. i want to upgrade my os from windows 7 to windows 10. Do the windows 7 drivers for this motherboard off the asus website compatible with windows 10? Also is windows 10 worth upgrading to?

Go ahead and upgrade. Win 10 is actually very good at getting its drivers, but, worst case scenario, you can use win 8 drivers as those will work no prob. Even win 7.

my general advice is not to upgrade unless your manufacturer specifically issued drives for windows 10. The win7 drivers may work but frankly not having specific drivers for 10 seems to be the source for most of peoples problems who do an in place upgrade from 7 to 10.

As far as is 10 worth. I think so, it's what 8 should have been in the first place. 7 is almost 7 years old now so an upgrade is due.
