Weird headphone problem

I recently bought a pair of skullkandy hesh 2.0 bluetooth headphones and the sound quality was fine over the air and plugged in. Recently though they started rattling with bass heavier songs on higher volumes. And I can even hear crackling/rustling in my ear when I move my head. The crackling and rattling are only coming from the left side and if I cup my hand over the left earpiece it quiets down a lot. One thing that seemed to help was plugging in the actual cord that came with the headphones. After I did that, the rattling was completely gone and I was able to test it out on multiple songs. That lasted for about a day and its back, so now I'm worried that the headphones are a bust. I saw a review online from a guy who bought two pairs and both had the same problem so maybe it's just a really bad design flaw, I'm not sure. I also saw online that sometimes when people have this problem it's due to a hair or some sort of interference being over the driver. Could that be the case? Like I said I have the skullcandy hesh 2.0 and just looking at them, they don't seem like they were made to disassemble easily for cleaning. Any insight on this matter is much appreciated.
