So im just looking for advise on the parts and how long would this gaming pc last me. Thanks for all the advice in advance. =)

Solution
Graphics card was a waste of money. You could of gotten a faster 390x, for that price. Not sure on the quality of that PSU either. Evga B2 750w would have been a better choice.

It will last a good amount of time, at least 5 years. Though if you wanted it it future proofed, I'd of went for the 390 over the 970, keeping in mind they are the same price. Currently they preform very closely, though the 970 will get older a lot quicker. Also, you don't need such a good CPU like the I7 6700K if you aren't recording. The 6600K preforms similar and cheaper. Also you need a cooler for your build, since your CPU doesn't come with one.

Don't get me wrong, the 970 is a perfect GPU. However, the 390 is more future proofed. There is something called VRAM, the newer games need more VRAM. The 970 is similar to a 390 at this current point because no games use over 4GB of VRAM. However, in the future more VRAM will be needed. Just saying that the 970 has 4GB of VRAM and the 390 has 8GB of VRAM. Though the 390 has heavy consumption.

Then you got a steal of a deal on it, because when I looked it up, it was almost $400.

@$400, the 390x is the card to get.

Even then the 390 would have probably been a better choice, longevity, and price, wise.

wait the r9 390 is only 300 bucks? or is that the older model? and yea I got the gtx 970 used from amazon used store it works great! just feel a little sad to hear it isn't what it is cracked up to be and wouldn't regular ram make up for the difference on VRam? sorry for all the question.

ok so I paid 349 for my gtx970 and SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390X 100381NTOCL 8GB GDDR5 cost 398.

I mean is my 970 a good buy in comparision of how much I spent or would throwing another 50$ just make more sense

I also have a gtx950 that I wanted to use a sci cable with my gtx970 if that's possible.
