We are suddenly seeing a rash of PC's where the USB, or wireless, keyboards stop working properly, and seemingly out of nowhere. The mouse still works, but the keyboard stops responding after any one key is pressed. Turn the machine off, plug in a PS2 kb, and all is well. Start the PC in Safe Mode, and, again, all is well. We have seen this in no less than a dozen of our clients' computers, starting this week. The only common factor seems to be Windows.
I've tried upgrading the Windows 7 machines to Windows 10, but that hasn't directly solved the problem in any of these cases. However, if I do the upgrade, then reset the computer everything seems to work again. We are stumped, and hoping someone else has some insight here...
