Heya I just spent longer than I should've replacing my FX6300 stock fan and the clamp system I needed to use made me want to cry, essentially it took me a few attempts to actually get it locked into place and it resulted in my thermal paste covering the whole cpu chip.
I used the Pea method before this just as a disclaimer, my main query is do I need to go back and start again or will it probably be okay, I'd rather not go through that again if I don't have to but if it'll damage my hardware I will.
Thanks, just for clarity the clamp felt very cheap which may have added to the difficulty
