Title says it^
Specs so far are:

Intel i7 6700k
16GB ram ddr4 2133mhz
Gtx 970 pci-e
Corsair h55 CPU liquid cooler
And some random system fan

The motherboard must fit the corsair carbide spec-01 case!
Also how many Watts do I need in my power supply for this?

Solution
Well, practically any MB will fit. The SPEC-01 is an ATX size case. You could also use smaller MicroATX or MiniITX boards.

You need at least 500 quality watts. A 650 watt PSU would provide you an upgrade path to practically any nVidia GPU in the future.

Do you have a budget for the entire system?

£600 budget, i have been considering leavin the gtx970 and sticking with my 750 until i can afford a 980ti, is it worth the extra £100 for a 980ti over a 970?

Corsair notes regarding the SPEC-01:
Compatible Corsair Liquid Coolers
H55, H60, H75, H80i

What video games can the Geforce GTX 970 4GB and Radeon R9 390 8GB run smoothly?

They will run any game at 1920 x 1200 (or 1080 for 1080p) maxed out, as well as games at 2560 x 1600 without any problem. Gaming with a 4K resolution or on multiple monitors is also possible, although you might have to turn settings down, depending on the game.

Here's what he says about the GTX 980. He doesn't detail the 980ti, but you know it will be better.

What video games can the Geforce GTX 980 run smoothly?
The Geforce GTX 980 is the ideal card for running games at 1920 x 1080 (1080p or Full HD) with maximum details and very high FPS, as well as 2560 x 1440 with very high/max details and 60+ FPS in most games.

4K is playable, possibly with lower details, but ideally, you want a more powerful video card or multiple cards for 4K gaming with high details and very high FPS to go with a adaptive refresh rate monitor, that is a Free-Sync (for AMD video cards) or G-Sync (for Nvidia video cards) monitor.

The Asus Z170 Pro Gaming is a nice MB. Will it fit your budget?
