Hello!

Comparing the Noctua D14 vs D15 and Cryorig R1 Universal/Ultimate CPU coolers. Opinions would be greatly appreciated (considering the specs)!

A concern would be the Noctua (not sure about the cryorig) blocking RAM slots and PCI slots especially the 1st one.

Not too keen on size and space value, so only way to find out would be to buy and try them out.

P.S. How would a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2) fair with overclocking an i7-6700k to 4.4-6ghz?

Current specs:

Intel Boxed Core I7-6700K 4.00 GHz 8M Processor Cache 4 LGA 1151

Gigabyte LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard GA-Z170X-Gaming GT

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB XTREME GAMING OC EDITION

Samsung 850 PRO 512GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz (PC4-25600) C16 Memory Kit - Black

Fractal Design Define R5 Titanium with Window Cases

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 80+ GOLD, 750W ECO Mode Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI and Crossfire Ready

Really I would go for the Noctua NH-D14 it's performance is outstanding and it's super quiet. If you don't have extremely high DIMM'S the cooler will not block the slot. The first PCIe slot is accessable when you use this cooler.

Here is an example where there is used high DIMM'S and you can also see that all the PCIe slots are accessable: https://www.google.no/search?q=noctua+nh-d14&espv=2&biw=1745&bih=890&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi45vmjw5bMAhUJG5oKHTCnC9wQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=u87lO0Rf6kzx5M%3A
