My motherboard isn't detecting my gpu and am getting super frustrated, I will install the drivers but says I don't have my gpu installed. Help!!!

all previous drivers were uninstalled first?
the pcie plugs on the card are not optional, all have the proper pcie cables attached from the power supply?
your power supply has the appropriate wattage?
the monitor plugged into the new card and not the motherboard?

Yeah I called EVGA and they said the card was just defective. It used to work which is really weird. Everything was installed properly, set up properly, and old drivers were un installed. Yes I have a Corsair CX600PSU. I am getting a new card tomorrow morning so if y'all could help with the install that'd be great!
