$600 isn't a bad deal. CPU wont even come close to bottleneck that GPU or any gpu currently available. 10GB of ram is an odd configuration. What is the make and model of the PSU(psu is a critical component).

That processer is not that old. No way will it bottleneck the GPU, and as long as everything is working, this is a pretty nice deal and I say you go for it.
