Video Card wont fit in case

I'm having so many troubles with my first build, It's driving me nuts. I checked with many people to make sure all the components were rights and that they would fit, yet they don't. The video card is too big for my card, although the motherboard fits like a charm. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M
Graphics Card: GTX 970
Motherboard: Z97 LGA 1150 Micro ATX

theres absolutely no way that card doesn't fit in that case. we need to figure out what your doing wrong. can u give us a picture? also, you need to tell us the model of your mobo. there are 100s of z97 boards.

card model is irrelevant. that case will fit any card. mobo model is important.

yes, but that case had ridiculous amounts of space. i know because i own it. im fairly certain they don't make a card that won't fit in it. i suspect he is having issues with alignment.

yup, longest consumer gpu is 307 mm

From Phantek's website: "Maximum graphics card length 420mm (300mm with HDD bracket installed)," that should be plenty for any 970 (Gigabytes biggest 970 is 280mm, plenty of space left if HDD rack is installed).

You're right, I'm having difficulties with alignment. MANY of them.

I can place the motherboard down like a charm. However, when I try try to place the video card down it bumps into the racks in the side, it won't fit. I'll send videos tomorrow, for I have no time to do this today.

Whoa! I just tried to re-do it right now to check what the real problem was, and I found it. I'm guessing this will come as a stupidity for you, but I hadn't taken the "racks" off for it wouldn't fit. I feel like a complete dumbo, beginners mistakes I guess. Thanks for the help though!
