I just recently decided on the specs for my first build. They are the following.

MOBO: BIOSTAR TA970 Ver. 5.3
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera
RAM: Corsair vengeance (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
HDD: Seagate 1 TB sata 6.0
GPU: GeForce GTX 960 2GB
OPTICAL DRIVE: DVD-ROM/CD-ROM

I used 3 different wattage calculators, each giving me a range of 360-386 wattage psu's. However my gpu's minimum requirements says 400 wattage. Does this mean that online wattage calculators are a bust? If so, what should I get for a psu?

(P.S , every online calculator asked if I planned to use a gaming mouse and keyboard. If this is something relevant to wattage's, I am planning to use a gaming mouse and keyboard. Specifically the Devastator II keyboard and mouse.)

Solution
Ignore those things, just get a 550W PSU, it's more than enough while still being cheaper. EVGA G2 and XFX TS gold 550 / seasonic g 550 are good places to start
