Clean my cpu thermal paste?

So i cleaned the stock cooler with a lint free cloth until it shined and then i cleaned the cpu paste with a lint free cloth but i didnt use any alcohol is that bad? its working fine and the temps are awesome couldnt anythin be damaged in the long term?

If temps are fine, you are good and will have no issues. Alcohol helps to clean residue paste (it hardens a lot with time), but if it is soft and relatively new you can easily clean the CPU without it.
