I would like to upgrade from FX 4100 to FX 8300. My current BIOS is FB. The 8300 needs FD.
My question is - what is the safest way to update to the new BIOS? What is the order? - Flash with old CPU, shutdown, put in new CPU, boot up? My MB AM3+ - AMD 970 - GA-970A-DS3 (rev. 3.0).
