So here is my problem I had a PSU that has 4 pin ATX12v connector on it for the CPU. I bought some parts and build a PC it was working fine even doe the MB support 8pin 12v connector. I bought a new case and the cable doesnt reach so I bought a 4 to 8 pin adapter and with thata adapter my PC is doing weird stuff without me pressing the power button or anything all the fans starts spinning and stopps and keep on doing that without starting the PC I instantanly swithced to my 4pinATX connector and its working fine now but my PSU is on a Chair next to the PC coz its too short! Why is my PC doing that stuff in the MB manual its says ATX 12V Power Connector and the cable i think is EPS is tehre a difference or why is my PC doing that stuff ?

fuck me i'm kinda just exploring the site sorry for being stupid btw i cant put the 4 in the other 4 any other way and also it has a little pinch on there

Your original post is a little unclear.

1) So your motherboard does support 8-pin EPS, correct?
2) Your power supply does not have a native 8-pin EPS12V out cable, correct?
3) The converter cable is a female 4-pin to a male 8-pin, correct?

Can you give me a link to this converter?

1)Yes my Motherboard supports 8pin EPS -Asrock 980DE3/U3S3
2)Yes my PSU doesnt have 8pin12vEPS cable but it has a 4pin one thats short and doesnt reach the motherboard thats why i want the adapter to make it longer and there are no 4to4 pins in Bulgaria!
3)Yes thats Right https://www.jarcomputers.com/p/CASECBL4TO8PINPSU/Prehodnik-4Pin-kym-8Pin-za-PSU?ref=pr

Are you sure ? If I buy another one will it do the work ? Or as I red somewhere the PSU needs more Wats for the EPS cable?

Yeah I think something is wrong with that adapter. It has nothing to do with "needing more watts". That's not how it works. Power is not a stuff that can run out. Power is the rate at which energy is being transferred or converted. Since power is the resultant of current * voltage, and current is simply the flow of electric charge which does not run out, power does not run out. Power does not run out, and the power supply can not run out of energy either since the energy comes from the power plant and wall socket.

I know it sounds confusing ;) just don't want you to get the idea that a power supply can run out of power. A power supply is a charge pump. It causes electrons to flow as current by using voltage.

3 days after i removed the SD card reader and no problem has occured was that really the problem ? the SD card reader have to be plugged in a USB port right ? I think the only way to find out is to plug it again and see if the PC runs!

It'll probably work. Chances are you moved something while first installing that adapter and that was the surce of issues.
