i5 2380p vs i5 2500k

I am looking at a cheap upgrade for my processor, and am considering buying an i5 2500k. Would I noticed much performance wise in terms of gaming and every day tasks compared to my 2380p?

It's an overall faster processor, so yes, but the difference wouldn't really be noticeable. If you want better gaming performance, get a better graphics card, and for overall speed, personally an ssd would serve you better.
