Recently I've been trying to OC my I7 4790k but every time i try to stress test it, the test stops about ten minutes in saying that there was a hardware failure.
I am a bit concerned because the turbo is 4.4ghz and i cant even get the stock 4.0 without a hardware failure.
While testing i was looking at the temperatures and they all looked fine only going to about 70 degrees celsius at 4.4ghz.
I've been using AIDA64 Extreme to do the stress tests but I'm not sure that it is the problem.
If someone could help me figure this out it would be much appreciated.
