Hello. I've decided to upgrade my pc and i made an list of the components im going to use.:

GPU: GTX 970 MSI 4GB Twin Frozr
CPU Cooling: H100i
CPU: i5-6600k Skylake
MB: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming or ASRock Fatal1ty Z170
SSD: 850 Pro Samsung 250gb
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200rpm
Ram: Kingston 16GB
PSU ??

I could use some help regarding choosing an PSU that fits everything, so if you guys could help me out it would be awesome, ( If any of the component isn't compatible i would like to know too, I'm new to pc building ^^)

What sort of budget have you set for yourself? I'm assuming from the processor choice you're mainly going to be using the system for gaming, and by the choice of the 6600k and Z170 series board you're going...

What sort of budget have you set for yourself? I'm assuming from the processor choice you're mainly going to be using the system for gaming, and by the choice of the 6600k and Z170 series board you're going to be overclocking as well. If it was me I might look at something like this

EVGA 750G2 Gold Rated PSU

You don't really need the full 750W (650 would be my honest recommendation) but when the 750 is cheaper I'd go with that instead.

You need 500W, but there is so much more choice at 550W and a little extra doesn't hurt. With 650W you would have an upgrade path to practically any single nVidea GPU.

I dont really have a budget i just want to build a decent pc since my pc is about 5 years old now and can't run newer games ^^.
Yes , it will be for gaming.

Great, would it all fit ? or is there some problems with the components ?
 


All your components are fine. I like air cooling myself, but many prefer to water cool.

Thanks a lot for the help ^^.
I got the h100i a year ago or so, it's been working fine i just wanted to tryout the closed loop solution ^^ but yeah you can get great performance with air aswell ^^
