Cause I know a lot of people with AMD gpu's who had really bad issues with amd drivers or trying to update them and many games tend to crash more on AMD Hardware example (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WmwlTBo6JY) and As someone else here said Nvidia usually does a good job on optimizing their gpu's for really new games and to fix bugs/or imrpove Fps or add support for a new technoology
( I never had Driver issues with Nvidia since 2009 with Windows xp-8.1-10)
Now there will be a lot of people to say "you are wrong i have had a lot of issues with nvidia drivers" or "nvidia fanboy".
No, it is just clearly Personal experience. Right now both are decent
