this will be my first custom water loop, i want to go x99.. for video editing. i will be going with a i7-6850K "intels new cpu" motherboard something from msi.. and the gpu whatever nvidia release next year.. heres my pcpartpicker url

Apparently(and surprisingly) your parts list checks out to be compatible with each other. Not often you see people posting a new thread with a newcomer attitude towards watercooling to get things right at first go, kudos mate! One thig to note though is you've gotten a lot of radiator surface area whereby you can live with lower rpm high static fans that being said, your AF series of fans will not be an ideal match for those rads. You should look into
Noctua's AF's
Bitfenix Spectre Pro
Noiseblocker E-Loop
Swiftech Helix
EK Vardar
should you want proper output from your investments(watercooling wise). Do note that they will cost a pretty penny each and you'll also need to consider if you'd want to go push or pull or in push/pull. If the latter then you're looking at 10 fans ont eh radiators alone and then some more for your cases airflow fans. A PWM splitter or a fan controller would be required therein. I'd suggest Swiftech's 8way PWM splitter, which is good for managing multiple fans off one header and does for good cablemanagment work, over a physical fan controller though I also use a Lamptron FC 5 v2 on my AMS build.

thanks for the reply :D .. i want a quiet build, so maxing out the rad space is why i did it, i also watch jayztwocents, and he also said to max rad space.. i did alot of research before posting.. i also do have a fan controller, and im planning on using it to run the 240 rad, the front fans.. which in total is about 5 with rad, rest might be controlled through the motherboard and or my second fan controller.. currently im planning on sp120s for rads..and 140s for the rear exhaust and hdd cage on the phantom 530 case. in total of 9 fans..

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner as my hands were tied up with other pressing matters.

You speak of fan controllers yet it's not stated in your PCPartPicker link nor in your thread's body. Mind sharing that detail with the community? How far have you progressed since your last response? Since your initial post showed great potential I'm assuming the build has been going along without any hiccups...? :)

PC is doing great.. i replaced a few things, like rads.. went with EK 360 PE and a 240 PE i went with the ek Revo d5.. the fan controller is a nzxt sentry .mix 2, controlling the two 120s on rad, one 200mm front.. and the two 140s.. top rad is hooked up to the nzxt grid.. im currently saving money for gtx1080 and waterblock to add to loop.. i will be doing an updated pc part picker page when I get the 1080 hooked up

Hmmm, seems like a good lineup of watercooling hardware though I'd like to state, that having all your fans running in sync with the CPU's temp gains and drops would be a good idea instead of having them split up like you've done so with the Grid and the fan controller.
