Will the r9 380 work better than the gtx 960 for my build?

Okay so my head is completely exploding from all the research I did on both cards, because no one has a clear answer. But mostly from what I read and heard I think that if I get the r9 380 4gb version that will be ideal for my build.

SPECS:

AMD fx-8350
2 x 4gb ddr3
Ssd 250gb
600w psu

Unless you have a lower wattage PSU (or are interested in low power consumption/physx) then the 380 is the way to go.
The 380 is ~13-15% faster than a 960.

If I was you I would go for a gtx 960 but it all depens on the budget and the 380 is a tiny bit quicker but the gtx can hold for a longer time and if you upgrade you can get more for the gtx 960 in later times(as money). I am a fan of the gtx series but but the 380 is not worth it I think. You can also get the gtx960 is also something you can show off to your friends and be like cool boy.
