Hey there
I want to know that what performance diff i can get using an i5 over an i3 while playing largee mmo's like dota CSGO and main stream multiplayer games

Bcoz i can fulfill my gaming with an i3 4160(sp and champain) i'm happy with its performance
But does it can perform gud mainly in 30-45 frames in heavy games

or i can easily use i3 and get playable frames

Thankz

Yes an i5 will improve everything. But not as dramatic as what you said. A heavily overclocked i7 might. My guess an i5 would push games performance about 10-15% better FPS, while maintain smooth multitasking granted if having enough RAM.

A higher GPU tier on the other hand, would significantly improve exactly like you said. Despite still using an i3. An i5 would stretch the GPU legs much better, but the same scenario persist.
Up until a point.
Like $300 cards scenario. Now this is where i3 chocked quite far to an i5 to justify its purchase.

But i'm pairing it with 960 which is below $200 so it is gud to stay with i3 right

There's nothing "good" about staying with the i3 - it's a lower performing CPU and it costs less. The question is whether or not you're satisfied with the i3's performance, or if you need a little more.

My opinion: The i3 will be fine in a vast majority of games, especially MMOs, but will fall a little behind the i5 in games such as Battlefield 4 64player online multiplier, where the extra cores of the i5 help a lot.
