New build just wondering if the EVGA 650w G2 Gold is sufficient for my cpu and gpu thanks

Ive ordered it and it is coming on Wednesday but i am just wondering i have a MSI GTX 970 Graphics card and a i7 3770 @ 3.40 MHz will this power supply be sufficient for this setup i just want to double check before they send it off what do you guys think? I think it should be fine but just looking for opinions as i am not the best with computers

Thanks in advance. Wondering as well will this set-up be ok for over clocking enough power from this psu

Its more than enough, 550watts would be enough. However its always good to have a little extra head room if you can afford it so I would stick with 650. It should be great for overclocking. Good quality psu, I would recommend it.

The psu is fine.
The i7-3770 is not overclockable.

As to the Graphics card, I would not bother with fiddling with overclocking such a strong card.
If you do try anyhow, the psu is still good enough.
