Windows 7 can't find my router?

After 2 days of working my butt off and stressing out, I finally managed to finish my first build and managed to connect it to my PC. I downloaded Windows 7 without a problem. However, once I opened windows 7, it won't find a wireless network. Everything I try, it says "Install a driver for your network adapter". I've looked up in the internet, but I'm no technological genius. This is a custom build, did I maybe miss a piece? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
PS. This is my first time using windows, so be a little gentle on me ;D!

Did you install the driver for your WiFi card (network adapter)? You'll likely need another PC with Internet access and a USB flash drive to actually do this. Start by looking up your WiFi card (or USB stick) manufacturer and finding the model, then seeing what drivers are available for your OS. Alternatively you may have better luck by running an Ethernet cable to the PC from the router and doing the above, then you don't need another PC.

I've tried everything, but my PC for some reason has no "drivers" folder, and everywhere I've asked I'm supposed to have it.

List your motherboard brand name, the exact model number of it.

The type of wi-fi adapter you are using.
Usb or a Pci-e based adapter that you connect to the motherboard via a free slot on it.
The speed the wi-fi network adapter runs at Eg: 54g , N-150 , or N-300.
The brand of the adapter, and the model Number of the Wi-fi adapter.

The information can be found via the manual provided or through a stick on the wi-fi device, either USB or Pci-e card type.
