I know you guys might be sick and tired of this question, BUT FOR THOSE WHO AREN'T!

Bios hovers high 40's to low 50s. The picture represents where the temps normally sit while running the programs independently. They don't vary much otherwise.

I have an a8 5600 with a H60 "water"cooling heatsink/fan.

I'm curious why the temps vary so much between programs, and if i should be concerned?.

Love you guys for all the halp

I used the shitty arctic silver they sell at radioshak, and went with the "spread evenly" method for the paste, opted out of the pea because my current case arrangement is very... creative. I'm sure i smeared it a bit as I set both screws.

Using overclock I get to a 30~ degree thermal margin at full load. My concerns of a bad sensor have diminished after reading that post you linked. OR SHOULD THEY BE?

thanks guys

I would clean it and use the pea sized drop on the middle. But if you are 30c within the thermal margin at full load I believe you are good to go. Those other readings just gave you a scare which is understandable
