Hello all,

recently I've been having problems with my PC overheating, shutting down on some occasions. I fixed this by pointing a small house fan at the motherboard, the lag stopped, PC doesn't shut down on itself anymore but this is pretty weird.. I guess? And also my CPU still goes up to 65 celsius degrees while idle.

My computer case is pretty old therefore i can't tell the exact one i have, the only thing i know is that the brand is 'Delux', I looked around it and found 3 places where i could put fans. One on the side and two in the back. They all seem to be 70mm. I've gotta couple of questions about it, any help would be appreciated. First, my specs :

CPU - AMD FX 4300 Quad Core 3,82 GHz
GPU - AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB DDR5 (XFX)
RAM - 8 GB DDR3 (4 + 4)
PSU - XFX 600W XT Series 80 Bronze
Motherboard - ASRock N68C - GS FX
OS - Windows 7 64 bit

1. I am supposed to buy 80mm fans, right? Enermax T.B. Silence 82mm, UCTB8, Twister Bearing - Would this one be any good and will I be able to put it considering it's 82mm not 80.
2. If I buy 3 fans, how should i put them. Which one should blow in the case and which out of the case?
3. Connectors, will I have enough? My PSU has 2 molex connectors, and i have one cha_fan and one pwr_fan on my motherboard.
4. My computer case is in a closed space with some slight room between the case and the desk, with only the front being visible. Will this be a problem for my fans, considering they are in a pretty closed space, will they be able to get cool air?

Thanks in advance !

That would work I guess but it seems like a much bigger hassle. Is moving all your components to a new case hard or is it achievable by someone who isn't completely tech savvy?

Also, what kind of case would be good for me. I searched a bit and i like this one. Would it be fine?

Have some patience, this is a hobby, not a job.I was looking but want to keep an eye on your budget and don't know for sure that you really can buy from Newegg for instance.
From those hree you ask about in the p.m. would i pick the Zalman Z3 i think looking at their specs.I would probably look at one of these two,but are U.S. prices,

your choices aren't available in that list,at least not under $40 which i looked at.

just take the panel off your rig and see what happens, if the temps are the same then your thermal paste is not applied correctly or you might need better coolers....also if you want just get a 200mm fan and mount it on the side panel, this way you are pushing cold air over most of your components....unless you have kids or cats just leave the panel off, this is the cheapest way
