Well I will try to explain everything in detail as much as possible (Sony SVE15116en Windows 7 home basic and AMD 7650M)
So I was playing Counter Strike Global Offensive on my laptop just fine when suddenly the graphic distorted i got a blue screen saying something like display adapter failed and computer is shutting down to prevent any damage to windows and then it restarted and the graphics were distored (still are) there are some bold green distorted lines on the screen and it works till starting windows and then I got a Blue screen physical memory dump which would restart the computer upon reaching 100 this cycle continues in normal mode
So I did some searching and started the computer is safe mode (and got a message mentioned in the bottom) which works atleast but still there are distorted lines and graphics are really bad.
1) I opened device manager and rolled back driver and restored windows to an earlier date -Nothing happened
2) I started it again in Safe mode and uninstalled display adapter of AMD -Now the laptop started in normal mode with again really bad graphics and I let windows update Install the display driver.
3)Laptop needed to restart for changes to take place but it crashed on starting no blue screen.
4)This time i got startup error and did startup repair which was recommended which upon completion restarted windows normally Only to get blue screen error again

Thats about it I hope you fou found the time to read the entire thing and any solutions will help or even Pointing out the cause if it is hardware or software only helps to some extent too.

This is the error message hope it helps to identify problem.

UPDATE 1 : Upon further attempts I managed to start windows normally but I see the Display Adapter used by Windows is VGA and not my AMD which maybe the cause and well the problem still persists Hope this helps
