After windows 10 updates. ? any suggestions my lan/ethernet no longer work. driver error x58 mother board. Any suggestions?

Sabertooth X58 motherboard. Install windows 10 no problem. After windows 10 updates the ethernet gets a driver error. Can no longer connect to the network. Any suggestions on fixing this?

Have you tried driver rollback or system restore?

I would first go to Device manager and check the network Adapters. Then right click on the problem adapter, and thenin the menu check for hardware changes. then follow leprmessiah's suggestion re. to rollback the driver(s). if that don't work, then try updating the driver.

This worked for my Realtek LAN:

1. go to Device Manager -> 2. right click on Realtek driver "Properties" -> 3. on Realtek controller properties window select "Advanced" -> 4. select "Energy Efficient Ethernet" and turn its Value to Disabled -> 5. press OK
