Do i need a cpu cooler with the i7-6700?

I want the i7-6700, i have no cpu cooler now but was wondering if ill need one. I currently have an i5-6400 that is very cool and my pc overall is very cool atm.

The 6700 (locked) comes with the stock intel cooler. Adequate but definitely not the best performer. The cooler would be the same as the one you have right now

The 6700k (and every other K part) since Hasswell-E do not come with a stock cooler. That means that you have to buy one, preferably a third party.
