Solution USAFRet Apr 17, 2016 cdabc123 : a 560 houses 4 140mm fans a 480 has 4 120mm fans. the larger the fan the more airflow and the quieter it will be Maybe Slower rotation vs more fans doing that rotation. Plus, possibly a bigger pump to effectively push the liquid through a bigger rad. It is not always cut and dried.
