Hi everyone,
So I want to install Debian on my computer and I burned a debian.iso file onto a CD to do this. However, whenever I try and run Debian off of my CD or run the installer, my keyboard and mouse do not work and will not respond at all. I do not know what I am doing wrong. This is the first attempt at running and installing Linux. My Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 Motherboard rev 3.0 Link to my Mobo I am running the latest BIOS version which is FC.

My mouse and keyboard is an Alienware TactX and a Mazer E-blue wireless mouse.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong so if anyone could lead me to the right direction, it would be much appreciated. I'm sure this is not needed but in case you need to know, I have an AMD FX 8350 processor and I plan on installing Debian onto my secondary 250GB SSD drive.

Solution
If you are very new to linux you should stick to distros like ubuntu or mint.

If both keyboard and mouse didn't work then you have no real way to trouble shoot because you can not see any diagnostic messages!

Only option to try is different keyboard/mouse or something with newer kernel/drivers like latest ubuntu
