I need a new psu and before I buy one I need to know if the one im looking at is compatible with my current system. Here are my specs.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti
Intel Core i7 cpu 960 @ 3.20 GHz
20.0 GB ram
64 bit Operating System
Windows 7 professional edition service pack 1
1.8TB Drive
Extreme Gear PSU # XG-P700
MSI motherboard # X58A-GD45

im looking at the Seasonic M12II 750
The reason I am looking for a new PSU is because when I am gaming my pc will restart on its own when ever it feels like, but only when im gaming.
Here are the temps I got from the bios window.
CPU 42 C / 109 F
SYSTEM 55 C / 131 F
CPU fan speed 1400 rpm
system fan 1 speed 0 rpm
system fan 2 speed 0 rpm
CPU V core 1.160 V
3.3v 3.360 V
5v 4.666V
12v 12.056V

Solution
20GB RAM might be your problem. That CPU was a triple channel 20GB would have to be an odd configuration.

A Seasonic PSU will be find for your motherboard and graphics. Assuming you don't have a strange case, there should be no incompatibilities.
