So I used to own a store bought HP Pavilion 500-009c desktop computer. The fron usb 3.0 ports on the case worked fine. But then I transfered all my components to a new case the NZXT S340, and now the two usb 3.0 ports on the S340 don't work at all. I am sure that the usb 3.0 plug is connected to the motherboard perfectly fine. And BTW the motherboard is a Joshua H6a uATX motherboard, came with the hp pavilion. I think it might be something with the NZXT since the old Pavilion case's usb 3 front port worked fine. Any help would be appreciated.

You're on Windows 10, it seems. Have you tried transplanting it again to your old chassis and seen if the USB 3.0 ports work on that? It may not sound nice to you but why would you want to transplant your prebuilt system to an aftermarket chassis? It'd have been a better idea to leave it as is and either hand it down to someone in the family or make a good offer worthy of selling it.

Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date? According to your products support site the maximum OS support your system has is Windows 8.1. You should be installing all your drivers in compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 8 [from drop down menu]
