Which has better airflow and cooling?

I'm personally leaning towards the Define S but the thing is that I'm concerned with the cooling of storage since I'm planning to use 3 HDD(2 x1TB on RAID 0 for games and 4TB for media content) and an SSD(OS) especially if I use Define S since I live in a very hot country with temps rising up to 40 degrees Celsius during the Summer. I'm also using an air cooler (Noctua NH-D15) by the way. Thanks!

The right angled cables are a nightmare to get in, I've had to bend mine, you would really need straight ones, as for hdd temps they're totally fine, my ssds run at like 20-30c I believe, not sure about my hdd though, you don't need to worry about hdd temps anyway, they won't break.

I was choosing between them as well, choose the Define S. Got 3 Fractal Venturi 14's in the front and 1 stock exhaust. The intake fans I limit on 1000rpm, the rear can only go 1000rpm. I now have a positive pressure inside the case which works quite well. I think adding s bottom fan would be to much, unless if you are going to open up the moduvents... which will kill the silence.

I love the airflow in it, and it's nice and quiet. I use a Cryorig R1 Ultimate as my cpu cooler, comparable with the noctua. I'm really glad I didn't take the arc 2! I now have lots of room in it :D

How's the temperature of the HDD installed at the back of the chassis? I see that there are dotted vents near the mounting points of the drives (to cool HDD/SSD perhaps?) but is it passive ventilation or does the air from the front intake go into those vents? This is what really is holding me back on buying the Define S since I'm concerned with the HDD running hot. Also, does right angled SATA cables/SATA power cables work?

Aside from Arc Midi R2, I'm also looking at Phanteks Enthoo Pro M since it is very similar to the Define S but with 1 less front intake. I don't mind the smaller window of Arc Midi R2 and Enthoo Pro M.
