Hello,
I have a friend with a $500 budget. There are 5 computers he found on Craigslist and he wants to know which one would get the best performance. The main game he is playing will be "Rust". He doesn't have a monitor yet, but I'm guessing it will be a 1080p. Here are the specs:
Computer 1:
AMD FX 6300 black edition
8 gigs of ram
XFX R9 380 w/ 4gigs vram
Sentey 750 PSU
Computer 2:
AMD X4 860k
7950 Twin frozer w/ 3 gigs
8 gigs of ram
EVGA 500 PSU
Computer 3:
I7 (not sure what gen)
GTX 750ti
16 gigs of ram
PSU not listed
Computer 4:
A10 5800k
7850 HD
12 gigs of ram
Power supply not listed
Computer 5:
AMD Athlon x4 860
GTX 750ti
I'm kinda leaning towards computer 3, because it has the i7 and Rust tends to be CPU heavy and with an i7 he could upgrade the GPU without worrying about bottle necking. This would be easier if I understood the AMD lineup.
Thanks for you're info and feedback.
