Is DDR3 RAM compatible with a DDR3L compatible CPU?

I've recently purchased a PC with an AMD A6-7310 processor and 8GB DDR3 ram. I noticed not long after attempting to run CS:GO and record game footage that the game was running pretty badly (FPS will never reach above 60). I've found that my CPU's 2GHz is the issue. I have looked online for processors to replace my current one, but they are all compatible with DDR3L and not DDR3. Will my RAM be compatible with this processor?

Solution
That is notebook cpu, in order to replace your cpu you first have to check which motherboard model you have and see if the cpu is replaceable. Your cpu uses DDR3 ram.

ddr3l is ddr3 memory but has much lower voltages, (eg.1.35v & 1.25v), ddr3l is usually $5-$10 more than ddr3 but you can use both ddr3 and ddr3L with that cpu

That CPU will never get above 60 FPS on CS:GO especially during heavy fight scenes.
With its 128 GCN cores you really need to lower down the settings all to minimum to get a decent gameplay.
The CPU is actually a SOC(System on Chip) which means the CPU is soldered to the motherboard.
Upgrading is therefore not possible.
Even if you do manage to upgrade a notebook CPU its performance is nowhere near a desktop CPU even the GPU is weak in comparison.
Get a desktop if you really want to game and leave the laptop for office use and simple task.

There are some amazing laptops that are much better than desktop computers, of course they will be costly but still you can play all games on max settings so don't discredit laptops so much :D There are people who like gaming but are constantly moving from place to place (students especially) ;) so they can't have desktop pc

You are right about that but the laptop he bought is just a low end laptop made for basic PC stuff such as surfing the Internet and watching videos.
It's not really meant for gaming at 60FPS+.
Not sure why people expect so much from low end hardware and expect it to run like high end machines.

Well yea, many people buy laptops considering that laptops i5 will run the same like desktop i5 processor. For amd I don't thing that any amd laptop cpu can run any A+++ game even with amazing gpu in it which is rarely to be seen. So OP if you want to game and play good games on high fps, I'd return that laptop and buy yourself an ASUS ROG.. for example:

This costs roughly around 1000€ which is available in my country, you can find even better deals on amazon so :)

Not sure where I mislead you to think I'm talking about a laptop, but it is an Acer Aspire TC-217 desktop. Would it also be soldered in place on a desktop?
