Hello there, guys and gals

It's been a while since I have noticed a kinda strange problem with my Graphics card or Display (I don't know the cause of the problem).

So, sometimes, during gameplay, on the left side of my screen there are green pixels flickering. Now, the strange thing is... they are not static, but actually move based on what is going on on the screen. Plus, parts of the game that are on extra layers, like minimaps, chat, subtitles etc sometimes appear slightly shaking. This is especially visible on games' chat. Now, get this: sometimes, even my Windows' taskbar's shaking. Just a slight shake, but it's enough to see the icons shaking.

Does anyone know what the cause is and how to bypass the issue?

Setup:
GTX 970
Full HD Monitor
DVI cable to connect the two (no HDMI support from the monitor)
Latest drivers from Nvidia (already performed clean installation of the drivers)
600W PSU
Intel i5 3570
8GBs of RAM
Windows 10-64bit

Solution

Try a different cable. Also, it would help if you could capture some scenes ingame and share em.

If swapping the cable doesn't fix the issue, your card could be overheating, or it could have slipped out of its slot a bit. Try pulling the card out of your PC and cleaning it out with compressed air before reseating it. You might also want to dust your PC while it's open. After that watch your temps to make sure it's not getting to hot.

@Hlsgsz
I have tried taking screenshots, but when I do, the saved image appears totally crisp, without the problems I am talking about. I will try a different cable and get back to you.

@bitwright
I do not believe it was because of overheating. I opened up HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html) yesterday, I played Battleborn for a couple of hours, the problem appeared at some point, but at the end of my gameplay session, the highest temperature the Graphics card got to was 56 degrees Celsius.

I will start with changing the cable and then blowing my PC just in case. Did that last thing sound weird? Anyway, once I am done with those things, I will get back to you. Thanks for the support thus far.
