Hello everybody,

I have a CPU with the following specs:

Processor AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: ASUSTeK M5A78L-M LX3 (AM3R2)
8 GB RAM

I currently have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (MSI). I would like to upgrade my GC, to give my rig a decent boost with the latest video games. Also, I am considering adding 8 GB extra RAM. Which card would be compatible with my CPU? Was wondering if a GTX 770?

Thank you,

Regards

Thank you for your reply.

Which one would you recommend? GTX 960 2GB or 4GB? The price difference for the 4GB is minimal but I am concerned it might bottleneck my CPU.

Thanks

With the current GTX 660, I am able to play the following without any drop of frames:

GTA V:
Screen: 1920 X 1080
FXAA On
MSAA X2
NVidiaTXAA On
Long shadows Off
High res. shadows Off

MGS V The Phantom Pain:

Screen 1920 X 1080
Motion blur enabled
Depth of field disabled
Model detail: High
Textures High
Textures filtering Medium
Shadows Medium
Lighting High
Post processing High
Effects High
No AO or volumetric clouds

Just to mention two of my latest titles. By the way, those settings are the ones the system set by default. I tried Fallout 4 and was able to run it at 1920 X 1080 but with medium specs.
