Can someone help me with this wifi issue

my laptops wifi was working fine and then it goes away and my system doesn't show the wifi and i tried reinstalling the driver but now the driver says its blocked and cant install idk what to do and my driver is the normal intel pro wifi driver and my laptop is dell 5558 and is there anyway to fix this ? and i also have windows 8.1 pro

The driver says it's blocked? What does the message say exactly? I've never heard of an error message of a driver is 'blocked', but more information would be really helpful regarding that message.

Are you downloading your drivers from Dell directly? That should be your first port of call.

That should be the appropriate driver you need.

I'm assuming you're downloading/trying to use "Intel PROSet/Wireless 3160 Bluetooth Application" ? That's the actual IT application, you still need the Wifi (and Bluetooth) drivers for it to...

it says installation blocked and in the box it says this software cannot be installed in your system and i just dnt know how to fix this i already have the bluetooth drivers installed ,my last option is to format my laptop

and my wifi had the same prob last time and i reinstalled it and it worked which was yesterday but today i uninstalled it to see if it will work today but the driver is giving that error message

hmmmm interesting but now its working all of a sudden idk probably it must be a windows malfunction hope it wont happen again heheheheh btw thank you so much for helping me sort out this mess it was a really helping hand:D
