So I have 2 Radeon HD 5770 (Crossfire) Graphics cards that're just sitting around in my Bedroom. They came out of my old build, Where my Motherboard failed. I am not sure if they're still working and would like to test them so I can sell them or throw them away as they're just taking up space in my room.

Only thing is, I have no idea how to test them. I'm not very good with computers, I was thinking that I could replace the 2 Cards with my current card, but unsure if they'd work with the rest of my PC. Heres my Specs -

CPU - Intel i5 4670K Haswell
GPU - MSI R9 280X
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

Can I put both the cards in this build or is it not compatible? If not, Any ideas on how I could possibly test them?

I would assume them cards should install and work just like the 280x is now and work as normal if the cards are not bad ??

you may need to uninstall and reinstall the amd driver to insure it ''unpacks '' the correct packets for the older cards ?? or need to use a legacy driver [older driver]

you can remover current GPU, install one HD5770, boot pc up, if it post everything is fine, simple test.

IMO you R9 280X will be way better than HD 5770 crossfire.
- Less power than 2x HD 5770
- Lower Temperatures (AMD runs hotter than hell)
