Hey guys my friend was on a $130 budget for his build so i build him a $130 build and i just want to know what games can it run please specs are

Intel Core 2 quad Q9450 clocked at 3.2ghz with a arctic freezer 7 pro
6GB of ddr2 ram
650 Ti boost over clock 2GB
500gb hard drive
P35-DS3 rev 2.0 Gigabyte Motherboard
500 watt power supply

Solution

mate it will play gta v not at anywhere near max settings but it will play it. the cpu is old. but its quite comparable in realworld performance to the fx 6100 and that cpu plays it fine.

he asked will it play games, the answer is yes. it wont max out many new titles but they will still play even if there at 30fps 720p...

I beg to differ...and I don't mean to undermine what you are saying, simply that you make it sound like that PC can play literally any game with ease.

This PC won't play some of the open world games at all (Arma 3, Ark, GTA V)...at least not with consistent 30 fps.

You're limited by your cpu, I wouldn't buy another GPU on that build, and there is not enough overclocking power available out of that chip to make those open world games possible at a good framerate.

as for the pci-e if its 1.1 it will handle the gpu fine... you will loose a little bandwidth on the socket but not enough to affect the card you using.
if its 1.0 then it just wont work. due to limited backwards compatibility between the 2 standards.

and for 130bux you aint gonna get much better.

They all work fine but the board just does not like all 4 slots used maybe 2x4gb is the way to go

Since its dual channel anyway, 2 DIMMs vs 4 is always better, and will work the memory controller a bit less. Using such old equipment thats probably a good idea.
