So I am deciding whether or not to build a gaming computer this summer (when I can start working full time) and was all out on it a few weeks ago but now I am unsure how much time I will be spending playing games.

So I am in need of advice here. First, I am looking to play No Mans Sky as well as Ashes of the Singularity and would like to play the newer games coming out as well at a decent level. However, since I am unsure about how much I will be playing I do not want to put too much time into it. I also view this computer as the next step for when I finish school and my laptop will be 5 years old at that point. So what price point would you recommend going in at with knowledge of the above information?

Solution
It will be a lot easier to plan your budget after you start working. You'll know how much time you have and you'll have a better idea of how much money you can spend. First get the job, then plan your budget.
