i put a 2nd hard drive in my computer, and it wont recognize internet connection

so i took the old hard drive from my old computer put it in, everything worked fine except the internet, when i boot from the main drive i have internet perfectly but on the second drive it just wont connect, i changed the os it was running (xp to 7) and it still wont connect to internet

Check your device manager. I'll bet it is full of yellow. Fix this by installing the drivers for your system.

I can't help but notice you seem to be on the internet now. Reading and posting.

If you're on a phone of tablet then you have to find someone else with a PC and ask them to down the drivers for you. You PC won't work without them. If this is too hard or complex, then take it to a shop and have them do it for you. They should not charge too much.

So boot from your old drive and download the drivers needed for your new install.
