The list is kind of outdated, sort of. For instance I just purchased another stick of RAM so now I have 16 GB of RAM. In addition, I purchased an SSD drive a 250 GB Sandisk drive. Anyways, my friend is selling me his i7 4770k so I want to upgrade my motherboard to a z97 to overclock it. Should I upgrade my motherboard? If so, what board do I get? Was thinking about the MSI Gaming board for the theme colors (i know really bad reason lol). Though I was thinking to upgrading to a 970 but with Pascal around the corner I'm hesitant at the moment.
I'm open to any suggestions and thank you in advance for any help.
Also, sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.
