Hey guys, i'm currently building a PC and before I assembled the unit as a whole I did a quick build outside of the case.
The system went to the boot screen fine, except I forgot to plug in the graphics card.
When I put the whole system together in the case with the card it didn't show the boot screen??
my part list is here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/D8kFwP
I have connected two vga cables from the power supply to the card with the 8 pin at the power supply and the 6+2 pin in the card.
I can't figure out what is going wrong. Please help :)

Solution
Is the monitor plugged into the motherboard or the GPU? It needs to be the GPU as the iGPU will be deactivated now you have a dedicated GPU powered up.
